First Year Milestones and Next Steps for IHS Project

Last week, the Steering Committee of the Integrated Health Services (IHS) project met to discuss the project’s first year and the strategic roadmap for the next year.

The meeting started with a summary of the progress made so far and key achievements, including the setup of the project’s main streams of work, and fostering stakeholder relations. A central focus of the meeting was on the introduction of working group approach. This approach contributed to a seamless integration of the project’s streams with the fundamental priorities of the Kosovo health sector. The presentations during the meeting highlighted the outcomes and challenges of this impactful working model.

The Steering Committee also outlines the principal directions for the upcoming year of the IHS project, including anticipated collaborations, new developments, and impactful advancements toward shared objectives within the health sector.

The Integrated Health Services project is a joint initiative between the Ministry of Health of Kosovo and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, facilitated by the Swiss TPH.
