A Video Message to Highlight the Importance of Hypertension Awareness
On 17 May 2024, the Integrated Health Services (IHS) project released a short video message to raise awareness of hypertension and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The video, released on World Hypertension Day, aims to send a message of education and inspiration for patients, families, and healthcare providers, encouraging proactive health practices and a collaborative approach to patient care.
The video message reinforces the commitment to delivering integrated, high-quality care that places the patient at the heart of everything we do.
The activity to mark World Hypertension Day is a collaboration between the GH Gjakova and IHS. It is part of their joint commitment to raising awareness about NCDs and improving the quality of healthcare services in Kosovo. IHS project is a joint initiative of the Kosovo Ministry of Health and the Swiss Government, facilitated by the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
