PRAK Advances Governance and Strategic Planning

The Patients’ Rights Association in Kosovo (PRAK) has taken a major step forward in its institutional transformation through a two-day workshop on good governance and strategic planning for 2025-2029. Organized with the support of the IHS Project, the workshop brought together PRAK board members, executive staff, and members to refine the organization’s vision and develop actionable strategies for the years ahead.

Participants reviewed key organizational documents, including the draft Strategy 2025-2029, a revised organizational structure, and updated regulations designed to enhance transparency, efficiency, and patient representation.

“This workshop marked a significant step in PRAK’s transformation journey, equipping the organization with robust governance tools and strategies to advocate effectively for patient rights and improve healthcare systems in Kosovo,” said Agron Bytyqi, Executive Director, while emphasizing the role of IHS project as a key supporter of PRAK’s growth and transformation by providing resources and guidance that empower the organization to achieve sustainable change.

This collaboration demonstrates the power of partnership in driving meaningful progress toward a healthcare system that prioritizes patients.
