Partnership to Support Improved Patient Representation
Enhancing civic engagement to contribute to patient-centered healthcare services is at the core of the partnership between the Patients’ Rights Association of Kosovo (PRAK) and Integrated Health Services (IHS) project. This was the key theme at a meeting with PRAK leadership to design activities that seek to contribute to patient advocacy and support.
“It is crucial to foster new collaboration modalities, including with the civil society and other stakeholders, with the aim of enhancing the role of all organizations that contribute to patient rights. We are focused on cultivating a broader network of such organizations,” said Ruzhdi Rexha, Executive Director of PRAK.
This partnership between PRAK and IHS is guided by a memorandum of understanding that covers a range of targeted activities, such as enhancing the role of PRAK and other organizations in the field of patient rights and supporting international networking opportunities to catalyse patient advocacy and support.
