Healthcare Quality Management Brings Working Groups Together
This week, the Integrated Health Services (IHS) project facilitated two meetings of the working groups established by the Ministry of Health to dealt with quality management systems within healthcare institutions.
Discussions at these meetings centered around the annual institutional action plans aimed at enhancing the quality management framework. Participants analyzed the tools employed in this aspect, conducted a comprehensive assessment of the Terms of Reference (TORs) for quality coordinators, and analyzed institutional documents and statutes, ensuring alignment with healthcare standards and regulations. Further, participants discussed the delineation of roles and responsibilities of group members.
The activities of both working groups serve to streamline coordination and oversight processes with regards to quality management in both primary and secondary healthcare in Kosovo.
