Clinical Audit Training of Trainers Continues With New Group

On day three of the five-day Training of Trainers (ToT) program on Clinical Audit, participants focused on the theory, standards, and processes that enhance the quality of a healthcare system.

Speaking both in his capacity as Deputy Minister of Health and as a family medicine specialist, Dr. Arsim Berisha expressed his satisfaction with the program: “It is a pleasure to participate in this training organized by the IHS project. This training is evidence of the strategic cooperation between the governments of Switzerland and Kosovo, ensuring that Kosovo’s healthcare sector remains in step with developments in healthcare services across Europe and the modern world.”

Dr. Berisha emphasized Kosovo’s good experience in primary care regarding clinical auditing, the core focus of this ToT. He reaffirmed his commitment to applying these practices across all levels of healthcare, including secondary and tertiary.

Participants in this training are being equipped to become future trainers within Kosovo’s healthcare system. They will play a key role in guiding and supporting their peers to implement clinical audits effectively, ultimately improving the safety and quality of care for patients.

The training is a joint activity of the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Kosovo Hospital and University Clinical Service (KHUCS), and the Integrated Health Services (IHS) Project.
