
Patients and Staff Insights on Future Multifunctional Reception at Gjakova General Hospital
At a focus group held at the General Hospital in Gjakova with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff discussions centered around plans for the new multifunctional reception area at the hospital. Participants shared their experiences with the current reception and outlined expectations for a more welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered environment.
The discussion revealed strong agreement on key priorities: clearer orientation and signage, real-time information for visitors, digital tools for patient guidance and health education, and staff trained in friendly, patient-focused communication. Participants also emphasized the importance of modern design elements to enhance comfort and trust.
According to the group, the upgraded reception will not only improve the hospital’s first impression but also strengthen patient–staff relations and reduce stress through better organization and technology support.
