Amplifying Patient Voices for Better NCD Care
The Integrated Health Services (IHS) project hosted an engaging workshop in Ferizaj, bringing together civil society organizations and institutional stakeholders to explore collaboration in addressing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs).
Framed around the question “What do patients say?”, participants exchanged insights, highlighted pressing healthcare challenges, and jointly developed actionable ideas to strengthen the patient’s role in local health service design, particularly in the context of NCD care. The workshop reinforced the essential role of local CSOs as advocates and amplifiers of patient voices.
This event is part of IHS’s broader efforts across Kosovo underscoring the value of connecting patients’ lived experiences and grassroots advocacy with policy development.
