Kosovo Healthcare Leaders Advance Leadership Skills
A group of professionals across Kosovo’s healthcare institutions and levels completed a three-day intensive Leadership Module training on 8 – 10 July 2025. This module is part of the ongoing Health Management Training Programme. Facilitated by the International Hospital Federation (IHF), the module focused on strengthening leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and sustainable healthcare practices.
The sessions aimed to empower participants with the mindset and tools needed to lead effectively in the ever-evolving healthcare environment, exploring leadership models, the traits of impactful leaders, effective communication, the significance of emotional intelligence in building trust within healthcare teams, and transformational leadership, change management, and environmental sustainability in healthare.
“This training module was crucial for developing a culture of leadership that inspires and motivates,” said Adelina Lenjani Osmani, representative of the Ministry of Health of Kosovo. “The Health Management Training Programme is among the first initiatives following the cooperation agreement between Kosovo’s Ministry of Health and the International Hospital Federation. The Ministry has appointed a working group to oversee the Action Plan, and an important development is that this plan will now be monitored. The Ministry will continue its collaboration in this field, and I thank you for this module, which I hope will be fruitful for all.”
