Strengthening the Voice of Patients: First Workshop Kicks Off in Peja
On 29 January 2025, the first in a series of seven workshops on “Empowering the Voice of Patients: Planning and Collaboration for Integrated Healthcare Services” took place in Peja. The workshop brought together 23 representatives from civil society organizations (CSOs) in the region of Peja.
Through interactive sessions, participants discussed about the patients and local challenges in patient voices and representation and explored initial ideas for more effective representation of patients and collaboration with stakeholders. A representative from the Free Legal Aid Office in Peja attended the workshop, emphasizing the importance of legal support in strengthening patient rights and access to healthcare services.
This workshop marks the beginning of the IHS initiative aimed at fostering sustainable patient advocacy networks and improving collaboration between CSOs and healthcare institutions. The series will continue in the coming months, expanding discussions and action plans for better healthcare services and patient empowerment across Kosovo.
