Patient Voices on Focus of Workshop in Gjakova
On 20 February 2025, we organized the second workshop in the “Empowering the Voice of Patients: Planning and Collaboration for Integrated Healthcare Services”. This time, we met in Gjakova with representatives from local civil society organizations (CSOs), which work with diverse population groups.
Participants engaged in interactive discussions on patient advocacy, local challenges in representation, and strategies for stronger collaboration with key stakeholders.
Representatives from the Ombudsperson Institution and Free Legal Aid in Gjakova addressed the group, with concrete and important information about legal support in advancing patient engagement and access to healthcare.
This workshop is part of the ongoing IHS initiative, which aims to enhance cooperation between CSOs and healthcare institutions for more patient engagement. The meetings will continue in other regions of Kosovo.
