Chamber of Nurses Finalizes Revised Code of Ethics and Regulatory Framework
The Kosovo Chamber of Nurses, Midwives and Other Health Professionals od Kosovo (OIK), has finalized the revision of the Code of Ethics and accompanying regulations, which define the roles and procedures of the Prosecutor, the Ethical Council, and the Court of Honor within the organization.
The three-day workshop held last week, attended by Ministry of Health representative and in inclusive representation of the OIK’s membership, aimed at advancing ethical oversight and professional standards for healthcare professionals, emphasized the significance of these frameworks. OIK President Nexhmije Gori highlighted the critical importance of the Code of Ethics as a comprehensive guide for professional conduct, urging members to actively participate in the process for inclusivity and transparency.
To ensure full transparency, OIK announced that the finalized drafts will be opened for public consultation, encouraging all members to provide feedback and suggestions.
