Workshop with Chamber of Nurses of Kosovo to Finalize Strategic Implementation Plan
On 6 December 2024, the Chamber of Nurses of Kosovo (CoNK) held a workshop to finalize the implementation plan for its strategic framework. The workshop discussions served to ensure that the strategy’s goals are well-defined, practical, and impactful.
The President of CoNK Nexhmije Gori emphasized the importance of the workshop and initiated discussions by revisiting the strategic objectives that had already been agreed upon. The workshop was attended also by Niman Bardhi, delegated by the Ministry of Health of Kosovo, also member of the CoNK Steering Council.
Participants tackled some of the most pressing priorities for the nursing sector in Kosovo. One major focus was strengthening CoNK’s legislative framework, as participants worked to refine key indicators and activities needed to support it. Another central theme was governance, with discussions centring on how to improve service quality and foster stronger institutional leadership.
The group explored ways to enhance the experiences of nurses through better membership processes, streamlined licensing, and expanded opportunities for continuous professional development. Finally, the workshop turned its attention to digitalization, with participants identifying tools and systems that could modernize CoNK’s operations and bring its work into the digital age.
The workshop represented a significant milestone in CoNK’s efforts to strengthen the nursing profession and improve healthcare services across Kosovo.
