Swiss TPH Organizes Integrated People-Centred Care Symposium
On 2 September 2025, the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) will host an international symposium on Integrated People-Centred Care (IPCC). The symposium brings together experts from academia, healthcare, public administration, and the private sector and will focus on how to improve patient care and treatment outcomes through more coordinated and innovative approaches.
With ageing populations and the growing burden of chronic conditions, health and social systems in Kosovo, just as across the world, face increasing pressure. The symposium will examine ways to bridge gaps between health and social care, highlighting strategies that ensure patients and families receive support that is not only effective but also equitable.
Discussions will explore integrated models for managing chronic diseases, the use of digital tools to strengthen coordination, and the perspectives of both patients and providers on their care experiences. The programme includes plenary sessions, parallel discussions on data management, research and policy, and concludes with reflections from health system representatives.
The event takes place on 2 September 2025 in a hybrid format hosted by Swiss TPH. More details, including the full programme and registration information, can be found here: https://www.swisstph.ch/en/about/events/ipcc-symposium-2025
