First Cohort Completes Training on Clinical Practice Guidelines Adaptation
On 17 December 2025, the first cohort comprising health professionals, clinical experts, and Ministry of Health staff successfully completed a three-day intensive training on methodology of development and adaptation of Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) and clinical protocols. The training supports the Ministry of Health’s strategic objective to strengthen evidence based, consistent, and nationally relevant clinical decision-making across Kosovo’s health system.
The program focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills to adapt international guiding documents on clinical practice to Kosovo’s national and local context. Participants explored structured guideline adaptation methodologies aimed at improving quality of health services, patient safety, disease management and clinical governance, while ensuring alignment with national priorities.
“In my role as a policymaker, participation in this training was essential to aligning national health policies with international clinical standards,” said Ariana Qerimi, Head of the Public Health Division, Ministry of Health.
