
Health Communication in Focus at Two-Day Training
A two-day training held on 3–4 April 2025 gathered communication professionals and health sector representatives from key institutions across Kosovo to reflect on the evolving information landscape and rethink approaches to public health communication.
The sessions explored pressing topics such as combating health misinformation, the ethical use of AI in institutional messaging, building partnerships with influencers beyond traditional media, and mastering storytelling techniques that place patients at the center. Through a mix of expert insights and hands-on exercises, the training highlighted the vital role of communication in ensuring that health information is understood, trusted, and acted upon.
Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Health, the National Institute of Public Health, the Hospital and University Clinical Service of Kosovo, the general hospitals of Peja and Gjakova, the Health Insurance Fund, and the Chamber of Nurses.
